Wheelchair parking was confusing. Staff gave me mixed answers. Frustrating.

I’m not sure if it was just the day I went, but race day felt really loud and crowded. The whole vibe was a bit stressful, and I didn’t really feel like I could relax much while I was there.

The fan amenities were disappointing. The bathrooms were gross, the lines were way too long, and there were barely any shaded areas to get a break from the sun. Whoever is in charge of planning for fans really needs to do better, because it felt like they just didn’t care much about the experience once you were inside.

I paid for camping for the weekend, it ended up being way more frustrating than I expected. When we first got there, our spot was really hard to find, and it felt like every person we asked either didn’t know where to send us or sent us in a different direction. I get that big events can be confusing and there are a lot of people coming in at once, but it was the kind of confusion where you start wondering if anyone actually has a map or a plan. By the first night, the bathrooms were already dirty, which made the whole setup feel neglected.
The showers were another issue because the lines were long almost every time, and when you finally got in, there was barely any hot water. I’m not expecting luxury camping at a race, and obviously I know there’s going to be noise, crowds, and a little chaos, but this felt unmanaged in a way that made it harder to enjoy the weekend. Trash started piling up, and when we asked staff basic questions, they acted like we were bothering them. I wanted it to be convenient and part of the experience, but I definitely wouldn’t camp here again.

I was at Talladega for race weekend the restrooms were cleaner than I expected. With that many people, I figured they’d be a total mess, but most of the stalls still had paper and the sink area was kept decent. The lines definitely got longer later in the day, but it did look like staff were checking in and trying to keep up with everything. Not perfect, of course, but way better than a lot of big events I’ve been to.

The seats were so cramped and uncomfortable, and most of the time our view was blocked, so we spent way too much of the race shifting around and trying to peek past people instead of actually enjoying what we came to see.

Getting out of the parking lot took forever, and it felt like no one had any idea who was supposed to be directing traffic. Everyone just kind of stood around or pointed to someone else, and nobody seemed to take ownership of the situation. Really frustrating way to end the visit.

I asked a few staff members where I was supposed to go, and every single one of them brushed me off like I was bothering them. Nobody explained anything, nobody seemed to care, just a bunch of unhelpful clowns standing around. it made the whole visit way more frustrating than it needed to be.

The entry process was a mess. The ticket line felt chaotic and it wasn’t very clear where people were supposed to go. To be fair, the staff seemed like they were trying to keep things moving, but the setup really needed better organization...

I was going to grab tickets, but the checkout page gave me a weird vibe. Maybe it was nothing, I don’t know, but I couldn’t really find clear info about safety or how my payment was protected. The whole thing just felt a bit sketchy, and then I started second-guessing it, so I backed out before finishing the purchase.

I kind of had a feeling this was going to be overpriced, and after trying it, yeah, that pretty much checked out. I spent more than I expected and didn’t feel like what I got matched the price at all.

I was kind of disappointed because I really wanted to like the place, but the bathrooms were rough. They looked nasty and the smell was awful, which made the whole visit feel uncomfortable. Maybe the rest of the place was okay, but after that, it was hard to feel good about being there.

I was really let down by the concessions. The lines felt like they took forever, and when I finally got up there, half the menu wasn’t even available. I paid way too much for cold fries and a dry hot dog, which was frustrating. The drinks were ridiculously expensive too. For a track this big, I really expected better food options, and it was just sad.

I went to Talladega Superspeedway and overall had an okay time, but the signage was all over the place. Some of the parking signs were easy to follow, and then suddenly it felt like every other sign was missing or pointing you into confusion. We ended up doing that thing everyone does at big venues, just following random cars and hoping they know something you don’t.
Once we got inside, finding the gates, seats, and bathrooms took way longer than it should have. The staff were helpful when we asked, which I appreciated, but places like this always seem to make simple directions harder than they need to be. Better signs and clearer directions would make the whole day a lot less stressful.
